David Bird

DJ/Producer David Bird has been involved in the electronic music scene since the mid 90's. His music style is everything deep from house to techno. He has held down residences locally on the Isle Of Wight and managed to play some high profile gigs in the UK and recently abroad, highlights being Bestival, Isle Of Wight Festival, Home (London), Ministry Of Sound, Lightbox, Gatecrasher, Cafe Mambos and Kanya Bar in Ibiza. He has had the pleasure to rub shoulders in the DJ booth with some of the biggest names in house music today such as Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, Nick Warren, Mr C and Richie Hawtin. He has been involved in music production for a number of years and recently released his debut EP on Saki Music called 'We Love Drums' [SKM007] in April 2009, gaining support from Dubfire, Nick Warren and Tim Sheridan. A review in the May 2009 issue of dance music magazine iDJ soon followed, along with airtime on a number of radio stations. With 4 more tracks waiting to be unleashed on Saki Music in 2009 and some big labels after his remix services, the future for David Bird is looking very, very bright indeed.
